When to call it

Against zone, when their defenders stay in areas instead of following people.

Tap a player to see just their job on the field.

• QBQuarterback — PasserLook right. Watch the right corner: if they sit low, throw Y. If they drop with Y, throw H.
• ZOutside right — Go, the top levelRun straight past your defender along the right sideline. You pull the corner deep.
• YInside right — Out at 8, first readRun 8 yards, then cut hard to the right sideline. The ball comes as you break.
• HFlex — Flat, second readSprint to the right flat, 2 yards past the line. Turn around early.
• CCenter — Safety valveSnap, take one step into the rusher's path (hands at your sides), then pop out to 4 yards and turn around.
• AInside left — Hitch, holds the left sideRun 5 yards and turn around. You keep the left defenders from sliding over.
• XOutside left — Dig, backsideRun 10 yards, then cut across toward the middle. Open if everyone floods right with us.

QB reads

1. 1Y on the out.
2. 2H in the flat.
3. 3Z deep if the safety comes down.
4. 4X on the dig, backside.

Keys to making it work

• Y: the out has to be sharp. Plant and cut, don't round it.
• QB: the throw to Y is outside, so throw it early and toward the sideline.
