When to call it

When their defenders drop deep and nobody is watching C.

Tap a player to see just their job on the field.

• QBQuarterback — PasserLook deep left for a full second to pull the defense, then find C in the middle.
• CCenter — The targetSnap, step back into the rusher's path for a count of two, then slip past and turn around at 5 yards.
• XOutside left — Clear outRun a go route and take your defender deep.
• AInside left — Clear outRun 8 yards, then angle toward the middle of the end zone. Take your defender with you.
• YInside right — Clear outRun straight up the field, fast. Pull the middle defenders back.
• ZOutside right — Clear outRun a go route and take your defender deep.
• HFlex — Swing, leftSwing out to the left behind the line. If C is covered, you're next.

Keys to making it work

• Everyone except C sells deep. The play only works if the defense believes it.
• C: don't leave early. Count to two first.
