When to call it

When they play man-to-man and every receiver has someone chasing them.

Tap a player to see just their job on the field.

• QBQuarterback — PasserCatch the snap and watch A come across. Throw it in front of them so they catch it running.
• AInside left — Shallow cross, first readRun across the field at 3 yards, full speed, to the right sideline. Look for the ball once you pass the center.
• YInside right — Dig, second readRun 7 yards, then cut across to the left. You pass above A.
• XOutside left — Clear outRun a go route and take your defender deep. If they turn their back, you might be open.
• ZOutside right — Clear outRun a go route and take your defender deep. If they turn their back, you might be open.
• CCenter — Flat, leftSnap, then leak out to the left flat where A just left. You're often wide open.
• HFlex — Swing, rightSwing out to the right behind the line. Check-down if the rusher gets close.

QB reads

1. 1A crossing at 3 yards. Lead them.
2. 2Y crossing at 7 yards the other way.
3. 3C in the left flat or H on the right if you're rushed.

Keys to making it work

• Crossers: never touch a defender. That's offensive pass interference.
• A goes under Y. A at 3 yards, Y at 7. Don't collide.
• Don't slow down to catch it. The speed is what beats man coverage.
