When to call it

When they're completing short passes against Cover 2, or when we need a stop.

• RRusher — Pressure the QBLine up where the ref allows rushers. At the snap, sprint at the QB's throwing shoulder with your hands up. Go for the flag, never the body.
• LCLeft corner — Their outside leftCover the outside receiver on the left. Give a 3-yard cushion and stay between them and the end zone.
• LMLeft middle — Their inside leftCover the inside receiver on the left. Stay on their inside shoulder so they can't slant.
• RMRight middle — Their inside rightCover the inside receiver on the right. Stay on their inside shoulder so they can't slant.
• RCRight corner — Their outside rightCover the outside receiver on the right. Give a 3-yard cushion and stay between them and the end zone.
• LSLeft safety — Their backCover the player next to the QB. Wherever they go, you go.
• RSRight safety — Their center, then deep middleCover the center. If the center stays in to screen, drop to the deep middle and help on anything long.

Rules

• Before the snap, find your player and point at them.
• If they motion, go with them.
• Watch your player's hips, not their head or eyes.

Keys to making it work

• Getting beat deep is the only thing we can't allow. Give a cushion.
• When your player catches it, pull the flag right away.
• No holding or contact. Play the ball, not the receiver.
